This week in Alys Beach, don’t miss out on the Chit Chat & Trunk Show with fashion icon, designer and TV host India Hicks at Studio b.  Be the first in the area to preview India’s new fine jewelry line inspired by her father’s inimitable bold style and the simplicity of island life.  The reception is open to Studio b. members and guests from 6:00-7:00pm Wednesday, August 10th.  The general public is welcome from 7:00-9:00pm.  For more information on this event, visit www.studiobthebeach.com. Seaside has fun-filled week planned with plenty of entertainment for all ages.  Monday – Friday at 4:00pm the Seaside REP presents “Stories by the Sea” @ the Lyceum Gateway Arch in Central Square.  “The Stinky Cheese Man” will be presented by the Seaside REP Monday at 7:00pm @the Amphitheater in Seaside.  Seaside Amphitheater is the place to be Wednesday evening at 7:00pm for an outdoor concert with Tim Brantley.  And remember “The Truman Show” that was filmed in beautiful Seaside?  What better place to watch the movie under the stars in Seaside Amphitheater where it was filmed over a decade ago!  The movie begins at 8:00pm Friday evening.

Check out “Once Upon a Thyme” in Rosemary Beach Tuesday and Friday morning from 10:00-10:30am at South Barrett Square.  The Children’s Theatre will present “Pinocchio Commedia” at North Barrett Square Wednesday evening at 6:30pm.
