Ty is originally from Atlanta, GA, where he attended Georgia State University Mr. Sims relocated to the Emerald Coast in 1996, launching his Florida Real Estate career. In the following years, he invested heavily in residential and commercial property throughout the Florida Panhandle and co-founded Sundial Development, a company that specialized in residential home building. Mr. Sims obtained his Florida Real Estate License in 2003 servicing clients in identifying condominium development sites, residential mixed-use land acquisition, light industrial purchasing, restaurant sales, leasing and luxury costume home sales. Mr. Sims has consulted and listed properties for multiple banking institutions including BB&T and PNC. Ty is a CCIM candidate and has a firm understanding of the entire Real Estate market on the Emerald Coast.

Ty enjoys running races, training, surfing, scuba diving, sailing and fishing. Mr. Sims has volunteered as the president of South Walton Youth Soccer and is one of the founding members of Gulf South Soccer Club. Presently he is the Director of the North Gulf Florida District for The Eastern Surfing Association and volunteers for Autism Surfs.
